The world’s oldest and largest art exhibition “Art Cologne 2021” has successfully concluded after five days at North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Precautionary measures against Corona were strictly followed in the exhibition. The purpose of the exhibition was to establish links between artists and different industries.
Artists from all over Europe, including Germany, participated in the exhibition and presented their art. Around 150 galleries and dealers from around 20 countries present modern and postwar to contemporary art.
For the first time, it runs concurrently with Cologne Fine Art & Design, which complements Art Cologne by showing art, arts and crafts and design from early times to the modern period.
Despite the fourth wave of the Corona epidemic, the exhibition ended successfully on November 21 and many works of art and design were sold at good prices.
It may be pointed out that Art Cologne is an art fair held annually in Cologne, Germany and was established in 1967. It is regarded as the world’s oldest art fair of its kind. The fair runs for six days and brings together galleries from more than 20 countries at the Cologne Exhibition Centre, one of the world’s largest exhibition centres. It is open to the public and attracts about 60,000 visitors.
