Pakistan has made all-out arrangements to welcome Sikh pilgrims into the country.

According to details, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan has granted permission to Sikh pilgrims of various countries including India, Afghanistan, the USA, Britain, Canada to visit Pakistan and celebrate the 552 birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.

Ten Afghan Sikh pilgrims which include four men and six women will enter the premises of Pakistan through the Turkham border.

The government of Pakistan (GOP) mentioned that it has always respected the religious sentiments of the Sikh community.

Meanwhile, Indian Sikh pilgrims will reach Pakistan on November 17 through the Wagah border Lahore and will also visit Darbar Kartarpur Sahib during the birth anniversary celebrations.

552nd Birth Anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak will be celebrated from 17th to 26th November.

It may be pointed out that Pakistan High Commission for India has issued 3,000 visas to Sikh pilgrims from the neighbouring country on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak this year.

According to a press release issued by the commission, the pilgrims will stay at multiple gurudwaras including Gurd­wara Janam Asthan in Nan­kana Sahib and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur.
