Commander Qatar Emiri Naval Forces (QENF) Staff Major General (SEA) Abdullah Bin Hassan Al Sulaiti, called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad.

Upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, Commander Qatar Emiri Naval Forces was received by Naval Chief. A smartly turned out contingent of the Pakistan Navy presented the Guard of Honour. The visiting dignitary was then introduced to Principal Staff Officers at Naval Headquarters.

Commander Qatar Emiri Naval Forces called on Chief of the Naval Staff in his office. During the meetings, matters of mutual interest including bilateral collaborations and regional security issues were discussed.

The Naval Chief highlighted Pakistan Navy initiatives for ensuring maritime security and peace in the region through Regional Maritime Security Patrols. The visiting dignitary highly appreciated and acknowledged the Pakistan Navy’s efforts and commitments in support of collaborative maritime security in the region. Later, Commander Qatar Emiri Naval Forces were briefed regarding PN roles and operational capabilities.

It is expected that the recent visit of Commander Qatar Emiri Naval Forces will further enhance bilateral collaboration between the two countries in general and the Navies in particular.

Later on, Commander, Qatari Emiri Naval Forces, Major General Abdullah Bin Hassan Al-Sulaiti called on Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, in his office today. During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters of professional and mutual interest.

Major General Abdullah Bin Hassan Al-Sulaiti commended the professionalism of PAF and acknowledged its rising indigenous capacity in the aviation industry.

The Air Chief said that Pakistan and Qatar enjoy longstanding religious, cultural and historical bonds which are manifested through strong ties between both air forces. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
