Steve Wozniak is a Bitcoin supporter. Apple co-founder has claimed that he expects Bitcoin will be valued at more than $100,000 in the future.
Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, has previously declared that he believes in Bitcoin. He called Bitcoin a “mathematical wonder,” among other things. Wozniak, on the other hand, never tires of underlining the parallel between gold and Bitcoin. Bitcoin, according to Wozniak a few weeks ago, is “pure gold.” Although Bitcoin was created as a form of payment, it is rapidly being seen as a means of holding wealth by a growing number of individuals.
Wozniak acknowledged his surprise at the success of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general on the Steve-Wild O’s Ride podcast. He argued that this was the way finance will go in the future. “I can’t put it into words, but I’m so excited about cryptocurrencies that I’ve deposited a large sum of money into a Coinbase online wallet account.” He stated, “Now the money is there.”
The 71-year-old went on to say that while he’d always wanted to try his hand at Bitcoin, his first investment paid off handsomely. Despite this, he does not appear to be a strong holder. “I wanted to try everything and learn everything, but suddenly the Bitcoin price skyrocketed.” “I was afraid and sold all of my bitcoins save one,” Wozniak continued.
“My aim in life is to have enough to explore with, but not enough to earn money from – and it’s gone up dramatically twice and made me money. Bitcoin, in my opinion, will reach $100,000.” Bitcoin is still a long way from achieving this goal. For the previous three weeks, Bitcoin has been stabilizing between $33,000 and $45,000. At the time of writing, BTC is trading at $39,000. On November 10, 2021, the largest and oldest cryptocurrency achieved an all-time high of roughly 68,800 US dollars. The value of digital money then plummeted.
But it’s not only the Bitcoin course that generates a lot of interest. The proof-of-work mechanism is also raising environmental worries. Steve Wozniak, on the other hand, does not feel that Bitcoin is harmful to the environment. There would, in his judgment, be far more serious issues here than the Bitcoin network.
